XV Training Academy Inc. is a basketball academy for youth to improve and elevate their skillset within the sport. Located in Surrey, BC, XV is a community builder amongst young individuals.
XV was looking to relaunch their website to fit the E-commerce model, as well as to streamline the UX. As a sports academy, they are targeting children and teenagers that are looking to expand their skillset. Considering that the average consumer is the parent of the player, I thought it was best to make the user journey as efficient and informative as possible.
The audience is not always aware of Basketball, even if their kids are super enthusiastic about such. This makes it important to highlight the benefits of each program and what XV Training Academy can do for their child. Especially for the younger children who may not have a major interest just yet, it's great to incite some confidence in the parent to drive a conversion.
I designed and developed a responsive website for XV. I set up the automations and CRM to ensure that the client was set to receive as much information as possible. Each registration was being filtered to its correct spreadsheet and followed up with a thank you email, which included the program information. By automating the email campaigns per program, it took the responsibility of the client completely.
Efficiency is key. With this project, a lot of work was done to streamline the management of registrations and contact with the parents. Payment systems were also set up using Stripe and PayPal.
In addition to designing, developing, and writing for the website, I offered the client content strategy to help push their conversions within the online space. Action is the most important behaviour in marketing. If we're not getting the audience to act, what is the point of it all? With XV, we want each child to sign up for an upcoming program.
